CLEP Exam Registration

The CLEP Exam is a 2-hour computer-based exam that assesses a comprehensive knowledge in a particular subject or general academic area. Successfully passing a CLEP exam may earn college credit in that area.

Please review the following information about CLEP Exams:
 

• For a complete listing of exams offered, visit Testing Services at the Main Campus in Columbia, Mo. or visit the CLEP website. The registration form below also lists the offerings.
• To schedule a CLEP Exam, complete the CLEP Registration Form and submit the $30 Registration Charge per exam.
• • Once Testing Services receives conformation of your registration and payment, we will call to schedule your exam.
  • Students must register at least one week in advance of the anticipated exam.
  • Exams are offered Monday – Friday, beginning at 9:00 am, with the last exam starting at 2:30 pm, space permitting.
  • Please arrive on time. Proctors will not allow late examinees to test.
  • We will reschedule CLEP exams twice, provided we are contacted in advance, before your registration charge is forfeited.
  • Failing to call to reschedule or not showing up for exam will forfeit the registration charge.

 

• CLEP Exam Cost: The CLEP examination cost of $90 is paid prior to arriving at the Testing Center. Candidates must first register and purchase the exam package at the CLEP website.
• It is highly recommended that examinees study prior to taking a CLEP exam. Study materials are available at the Stafford Library as well as on the CLEP website.
• A list of courses which allow CLEP exams, equivalencies and minimum score requirements can be found on the Evaluations Website.
