The Kaplan nursing exam is designed to assess the academic readiness of students applying to the ASN program. Students should plan to spend approximately three hours completing the exam. 

Columbia College offers admissions exams at two locations:

• Practice Hall Testing Center, 709 N. 8th St, Columbia, MO 65216
• Columbia College, 900 College, Room 113 Blvd, Osage Beach, MO 65065

All applicants to the ASN program should review the following important information before proceeding with exam registration. 

• You must be fully admitted to Columbia College before registering for the exam. 
• Exam registrations cannot be completed using a mobile device or tablet.
• Students should only register for one test at a time. Do not schedule multiple exams.
• Scores from both Columbia College testing locations may be used for ASN applications.
• If you miss your scheduled test date, the fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied to a future date. 
• After registering, you will recieve email confirmation and Kaplan account setup instructions. 
• To take the exam students are required to bring a valid photo ID and their Kaplan user ID and password on the day of testing.

Important Update: Students applying to the BSN program are no longer required to take the admissions exam.
